Short CV
Barbara Bolognese is a pianist, singer and gregorianist. She completed her Diploma in Piano Performance at the Conservatory "L. D'Annunzio in Pescara under the guidance of P. De Ninis, and studied Singing with P. Smith, P. Igelsrud (Boston), R. Zangari (Rome), G. Cinciripi (Pescara) while taking part in the choral activity of vocal ensembles in England (Soci Cantorum) and Italy (Vocalia Consort, Compagnia Virtuosa, Roma Vocal Ensemble). She is the co-founder of the vocal ensemble Jubilus Ensemble, based in Rome. She is a member of the Ecce research group in gregorian Chant (AERCO) and teaches introductory and advanced classes in English at the AERCO school of Gregorian Chant.

GregorioTeX notation for Beneventan and Old Roman chant
With Aurelio Carlucci, I have developed some new fonts to write Old Roman and Beneventan plainchant in square notation. We have also implemented those in one of the current software which is regularly used to write Gregorian chant and Medieval plainchant in general.
